What does an A/C tune-up cost?

$189. That covers a full inspection, cleaning, and safety check. No hidden fees.

How long does it take?

About 1 to 1.5 hours. We won't drag it out.

When is the best time to get an A/C tune-up?

Spring — before you need it. Getting it done in March or April means you're not scrambling when the first heat wave hits. That said, it's worth doing anytime if it hasn't been done in the last 12 months.

What's included?

A complete inspection of your condenser and evaporator coils, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, capacitors, contactor, fan motor, drain line, and safety controls. We'll clean condenser coils, condensate drain lines, outdoor unit debris removal, evaporator coil check, test everything, and tell you exactly what we found.

Does my A/C need refrigerant?

It shouldn't. A properly functioning system doesn't consume refrigerant. If your system is low, that means there's a leak. We'll find it, tell you what it costs to fix, and let you decide how to proceed. No pressure.

Why is my A/C running but not cooling?

Most common causes are low refrigerant, dirty coils, a failing capacitor, or a clogged drain line. A tune-up catches all of these. If something's found we'll give you a straight quote to fix it.

How often should I get an A/C tune-up?

Once a year, ideally every spring before cooling season. Annual maintenance extends the life of your system, keeps it running efficiently, and helps you avoid emergency repairs.

Is a filter included?

No. Filters are available at an additional cost. If you need one, we'll let you know and won't surprise you with the charge.

What if my A/C is old — is a tune-up still worth it?

Yes. A tune-up on an older system can extend its life and help you plan ahead. We'll give you an honest assessment of what we find — if the system is on its last legs, we'll tell you that too. No pressure to replace until you're ready.
